Round table: “Diversity in governance in the face of the crisis: is feminization a solution?”

On Tuesday October 1, Bruno Kaufmann, Chairman of WeBoard, was invited to join Marine CHARLES, CEO of B&B HOTELS France, and Mireille Faugère (former CEO and multi-director) on a central theme for managers and boards: the diversity of governance in the face of the crisis.

Anne-Sophie Noury of White & Case LLP moderated the discussions.

💡 Key lesson: The diversity of a board's membership, particularly its feminization, is essential for tackling crises.

🔴 But beware: this diversity needs to be anticipated, because in times of crisis, the risk is of “closing ranks” and reverting to homogeneous teams-which can compromise the management of the crisis itself.

So it's important to anticipate and manage the right people in good times and bad.
